Maximizing employer matches
For many employer-sponsored retirement plans, the employer will match your contributions up to a certain percentage. Check with your plan administrator to find out if your plan offers an employer match; if it does, make sure you take advantage of this "bonus" money and set your contribution level so you maximize the employer match.
